Set in a fictional modern-day Sao Paulo, where marijuana has been legalized, this series follows 29-year-old Biriba, a drug dealer who decides to give up his criminal life and enter the legal drug sales industry. Unfortunately for Biriba, going straight is more difficult than he could have imagined.

A parolee is abandoned by his ex-wife and barred from seeing his young daughter. He develops a relationship with a lonely & troubled woman, saves her from an unlikely assailant and is forced to re-evaluate his freedom as he evades the law and faces demons from his past.

Clip Joint is a show-within-a-show (à la Larry Sanders) about a self-absorbed, narcissistic movie reviewer. Whenever the show offends a V.I.P. with its content, the show put the offended party on the payroll to silence them, hence the studio is full of silenced malcontents.
